Platform Engineer for Internal AI Cortex

Job summary

Gorgias is building the internal AI platform to empower every employee to be more productive with AI. You will join the platform group and own the Cortex surfaces, including the UI work hub, agent builder, and integrations, while maintaining strong governance and cost controls.

You will collaborate on the internal AI Platform stack, owning infrastructure, APIs, and developer experience to accelerate AI-driven workflows across Slack, web, and automation layers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-stack engineering with shipping user-facing products end to end.
• Strong front-end experience with React and a solid back-end foundation.
• Experience with cloud-native infrastructure: Kubernetes, CI/CD, Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Own platform services and infrastructure across internal Cortex surfaces.
• Design and ship user-facing platform features with reliability and polish.
• Build auth, integrations, and app framework to empower other teams.
• Ensure governance, cost control, and observability are baked in from the start.
• Foster a productive and reusable codebase for AI agents and workflows.
