Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a Platform Engineer Principal for a hybrid role combining DevOps and full-stack work in Maryland. Telework up to 2 days per week and cross-network production deployment give broad scope.

You'll deploy containerized apps with Kubernetes, modify Java Spring back-end and Vue.js front-end, and collaborate with DevOps, software, and systems engineers to maintain secure, compliant environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education.
• 8+ years of related experience.
• US citizenship required with TOP SECRET//SCI W/ Polygraph
• Experience deploying and managing containerized apps with Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Deploy the RAD system to three network environments via Kubernetes.
• Design, document, and run a repeatable deployment pipeline across networks.
• Modify Java Spring back-end and Vue.js front-end components for deployment support.
• Diagnose and resolve infra, middleware, and app issues during standup and stabilization.
• Collaborate with DevOps, software developers, and system engineers to align practices.
