Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an engineer to build a platform for developers, focusing on APIs, SDKs, and tools to extend our products. You’ll own features from initial discussion to release, working with developers, partners, and the open-source community.

Based in San Francisco, this role follows a hybrid schedule with three days in the office weekly and relocation support for new hires.

Qualifications

• Built software used by other developers.
• Experience designing and documenting APIs.
• Experience communicating with developers/partners.
• Comfortable working across web interfaces and backend systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship APIs, SDKs, and services that developers use to extend our products.
• Make plugins easier to create, test, publish, update, and share.
• Improve compatibility and consistency across our products, including interactive experiences.
• Contribute to open standards and developer tooling design.
• Work with developers and partners to understand problems and improve the platform, tooling, and documentation.
• Collaborate with Product, Research, Security, and Trust & Safety on permissions, compatibility, and safe execution.
