About the role:

As aPlatform Engineer, you will define discrete systems with processes to link together complex systems and components with software applications to perform as a coordinated whole. Your role involves Infrastructure & Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, and Applications & Operations Support while providing vendor-agnostic cloud engineering services to the Unified Platform (UP) and Big Data Platform (BDP).

You will provide DevSecOps engineering services for platform components that are the backbone of Software Factory and CI/CD pipelines. You'll provide Day II operations support including routine patching, upgrades, continuous monitoring, vulnerability management, and application optimization while maintaining established SLAs and SLOs.

This role is contingent on contract award.

What we are looking for:
Associate: Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of related experience or Master's degree. Works on assignments requiring judgment and initiative under supervision. Develops solutions to technical problems of limited to moderate scope following established procedures.

Standard: Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of related experience, Master's degree with 3+ years of experience, or PhD. Works independently providing technical solutions to complex problems with considerable latitude in approaches.

Senior: Bachelor's degree with 9+ years of related experience, Master's degree with 7+ years of experience, or PhD with 4+ years of experience. Recognized authority providing innovative solutions to complex technical problems and leading advanced development efforts.

Experience with BigBang, observability and monitoring, AWS cloud operations, Kubernetes, GitLab, CI/CD tools, Platform One, Flux, Kustomize, Prometheus, Grafana, Atlassian applications, Nexus, Keycloak, and Docker.

Highly preferred:

  • Direct experience supporting Platform One.
  • Advanced DevSecOps and container orchestration knowledge.
  • Enterprise architecture and systems integration experience.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Active Top Secret with ability to obtain and maintain SCI

Work Type:

  • May require up to 10% travel

Salary Range:

  • $130,000 - $160,000
