Job summary

Robotics Technologies LLC is seeking a Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable cloud platforms and developer tooling across GCP or Alibaba Cloud. You will own IaC-driven infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized environments with Kubernetes and Docker, while ensuring security, governance, and cost optimization to maximize performance and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Platform Engineering, DevOps, or SRE experience.
• Proficient with Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation/ROS.
• Hands-on Kubernetes (GKE/ACK) and Docker experience.
• CI/CD pipeline development with GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or ArgoCD.
• Scripting languages: Python, Bash, Go, or Shell.
• Strong cloud networking and security knowledge.
• Problem-solving for distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, provision, and maintain enterprise cloud infrastructure on GCP or Alibaba Cloud using IaC.
• Develop and maintain robust CI/CD automation pipelines for deployment, testing, and release management.
• Architect and manage containerized environments using Kubernetes (GKE/ACK) and Docker.
• Implement observability, monitoring, logging, and alerting for system health.
• Drive cloud security, IAM, compliance, and governance across environments.
• Build automated self-service developer tools and platform APIs to accelerate deployment.
• Perform cloud cost optimization (FinOps) and capacity planning.
• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot infrastructure challenges.
• Establish SRE practices and incident response frameworks.
• Maintain documentation for platform architecture and automation scripts.
