Job summary

Robotic Technologies Automation seeks a Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable cloud platforms and developer tooling. You will automate deployment pipelines, enforce best practices, and collaborate across software, DevOps, security, and architecture teams to enable reliable software delivery.

The role emphasizes IaC, Kubernetes, cloud security, FinOps, and observability, with a focus on GCP or Alibaba Cloud and multi-cloud strategies. 5+ years preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Platform Engineering, DevOps or SRE.
• Proficient with IaC tools like Terraform, Pulumi or CloudFormation/ROS.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes (GKE/ACK) and Docker.
• CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins or ArgoCD.

Responsibilities

• Design, provision and maintain enterprise cloud infra on GCP or Alibaba Cloud via IaC.
• Develop and maintain robust CI/CD automation pipelines.
• Architect and manage containerized environments using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Implement platform observability, monitoring, logging and alerting.
• Drive cloud security, IAM, compliance and governance best practices.
• Build self-service developer tools and platform APIs.
• Optimize cloud costs (FinOps) and plan capacity.
• Collaborate with dev teams to troubleshoot infra and deployment challenges.
• Establish SRE readiness, incident response and runbooks.
• Maintain comprehensive platform architecture and automation docs.
