Job summary

Conagra Brands is seeking a Platform Engineer for Analytics Platform (Databricks/Palantir Foundry) to design, automate, and operate scalable data platforms in our Azure environment. You will enable high-quality data product delivery through CI/CD, IaC, and robust disaster recovery practices.

You will implement platform governance, runbooks, and on-call incident response, partnering with engineering and business teams to ensure reliable, compliant data solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in platform engineering, data platform operations, Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or similar roles.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience supporting Databricks and/or Palantir Foundry in a production environment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across distributed systems, data pipelines, and integrations.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Python or Bash.
• Familiarity with cloud fundamentals (Azure or Google Cloud Platform), networking basics, and IAM concepts.
• Strong experience with CI/CD, IaC, and platform-level automation.

Responsibilities

• Build, operate, and optimize Databricks and/or Palantir Foundry workspaces, clusters, jobs, storage integrations, and configurations.
• Manage workspace governance, policies, secrets, access controls, and cost guardrails.
• Automate platform provisioning and environment consistency via Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for notebooks, transformations, libraries, and data products.
• Standardize data product delivery with reusable templates and paved-road frameworks.
• Enforce guardrails/quality gates for reliable data releases.
• Participate in on-call rotations and postmortems to improve reliability.
• Perform chaos testing and disaster recovery readiness checks.
