Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer for AML - Ai & Data Platforms in California.

You will design, develop, and operate scalable backend services, APIs, and platform components supporting AI-powered innovation and fraud detection workflows for internal users. You will work with IS&T teams on data pipelines, deployments, and performance tuning, using Java, Python, and cloud-native technologies like Kubernetes and Kafka.

Qualifications

• B.S. in CS or related field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years building backend or distributed systems.
• Strong Java experience with modern JDK versions.
• Hands-on Python development.
• Familiarity with distributed tech like Kafka, OpenSearch, Solr, Cassandra.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services in Java.
