You will design connectors and pipelines, implement long-running AI workflows, and help shape the security and RBAC model for a government-grade platform. This on-site role sits with a small, mission-driven team in Flatiron, NYC, with equity opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in building real systems from design to production.
• Strong backend fundamentals in Python and/or Node.js.
• Ability to design reliable, extensible APIs and data models.
• Familiarity with AI coding tools and modern development workflows.
• Experience with frontend concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own ingestion and data modeling across connectors and pipelines.
• Build AI workflow infrastructure for long-running, multi-step agentic workflows.
• Develop core platform primitives including workflow engine and RBAC.
• Ensure security, compliance, and auditability as part of platform features.
• Collaborate directly with the founder on architecture decisions.
