Job summary

DRW is seeking a Platform Engineer to build and operationalize its AI tooling ecosystem. You will connect external cloud AI providers, internal models, and end-user tools into a unified control plane, working closely with the Team Lead and Senior/Staff SWE.

Responsibilities include implementing robust API gateway configurations, secure logging, and progressive friction alerts. The role emphasizes Go and Python development, collaboration across squads, and maintaining scalable, maintainable code.

Qualifications

• Backend software development experience with Go and/or Python.
• Designing and integrating APIs, gateways, and platform services.
• Interest in the evolving LLM tooling ecosystem and AI infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage multi-engine API gateways with routing, rate limits, and fallback logic for LLM requests.
• Migrate and integrate firm-wide tools into a centralized management plan with secure logging and governance of AI traffic.
• Operate within a Shared Responsibility Model with the Cloud team for AI services in enterprise landing zones.
