Job summary

Veeva Systems is a mission-driven cloud software leader for life sciences. You will build end-to-end AI features, from RAG pipelines to LLM apps, using AWS Bedrock and modern stacks. The role spans backend, frontend, and cloud, with real ownership from day one in a fully remote US team.

You will ship async Python services and React/TypeScript frontend features, collaborating with global services teams. A strong AI curiosity and solid English communication are required for this fast-moving

Qualifications

• 2+ years building and shipping real production software.
• Strong Python with async REST APIs, FastAPI ideal.
• Experience building at least one agent or RAG app.
• Comfortable with React/TypeScript frontend and backend services.
• SQL/PostgreSQL and Git-based workflows.
• Foundational AWS knowledge including containers (Docker).
• Genuine curiosity for AI and fast learning.
• Strong written and verbal English in a fast-moving remote team.

Responsibilities

• Build end-to-end AI features (RAG pipelines, LLM apps) on AWS Bedrock.
• Design and ship async Python services (FastAPI, SQLAlchemy 2 async, asyncpg).
• Develop features in React/TypeScript portal used by global teams.
• Own features from design through deploy with mentorship.
• Maintain tests, CI and observability for a small team.
• Work across backend, frontend, cloud and applied AI.
