Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Platform Engineer for a world-leading technology organization in the United States. This remote role focuses on building and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure and developer platforms that support modern application deployments.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in Platform Engineering or DevOps, strong Kubernetes, AWS, Linux experience, and hands-on IaC (Terraform or CloudFormation), plus CI/CD pipeline know‑how.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or related infrastructure roles.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes, AWS, and Linux administration in production environments.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and cloud-native platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with distributed systems, networking, and infrastructure technologies.

The Platform Engineer role is a remote position focused on building and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure and developer platforms that support modern application deployments. The Platform Engineer will help create self-service tooling, automate infrastructure operations, and improve the developer experience across the organization. An ideal candidate for the Platform Engineer role is an experienced engineer with strong expertise in Kubernetes, AWS, Linux, and Infrastructure as Code.

Compensation for the Platform Engineer includes:

• Salary range: $120,000 – $140,000 depending on experience
