Job summary

Panera LLC on the Saint Louis campus is seeking a Platform Engineer to build, support, and improve automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure platforms that enable software delivery across the organization.

You will work with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to boost reliability, efficiency, and developer productivity while growing in cloud infrastructure, automation, and platform engineering.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Systems Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or related field.
• Foundational understanding of CI/CD concepts and software delivery practices.
• Experience with source control systems such as GitLab or GitHub.
• Experience scripting with Python, Bash, PowerShell, or JavaScript.
• Experience with Linux administration.
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code concepts and tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Experience with Docker containers.
• Basic understanding of Kubernetes concepts.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

As a Platform Engineer on the Panera Systems team, you will help build, support, and improve the automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure platforms that enable software delivery across the organization. You will work closely with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to improve reliability, efficiency, and developer productivity. This role is ideal for an engineer with foundational DevOps experience who is looking to continue growing your expertise in cloud infrastructure, automation, and platform engineering.

• Knowledge of DevSecOps concepts and practices.

Competitive salary $98,077 - $117,692 annually. The actual pay offered will be determined by multiple factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, job-related knowledge, skills, and geographical location. Individual compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
