Job summary

Belay Technologies is seeking a Platform Engineer to join our intel team in the Maryland area. You will help build, test, and maintain infrastructure and tools to accelerate software development and release cycles, collaborating with development and operations to automate processes and improve deployment pipelines.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced with Ansible, and passionate about automation and continuous improvement, security, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Security clearance TS/SCI with polygraph is required.
• BS in Science plus 10 years of experience (14 years without degree)

Responsibilities

• Ensure platform security and compliance with best practices.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and platform issues.
• Design, build, and maintain internal platforms to support development and deployment.
• Monitor performance and reliability using observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
• Automate operational processes to reduce manual intervention and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with software teams to improve deployment workflows.

Belay Technologies is seeking a Platform Engineer (PE) to join our intel team.This person will help build, test, and maintain the infrastructure and tools to allow for the speedy development and release of software. Work closely with development, and operations teams to automate processes, enhance system reliability, and improve deployment pipelines. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced with Ansible, and passionate about automation and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure platform security, compliance, and adherence to best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and platform-related issues
• Design, build, and maintain internal platforms that support application development and deployment
• Monitor system performance, reliability, and availability using observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana)
• Automate operational processes to reduce manual intervention and improve efficiency
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to improve developer experience and deployment workflows

Candidates should have the following qualifications:

• TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph
• Bachelors of Science (BS) + Ten (10years' experience (Fourteen (14) years w/o degree

Salary Range: $168,000 to $240,000
