Job summary

Take2 Consulting, LLC is seeking a Senior Infrastructure and Virtualization Engineer to design, implement, and support large-scale private cloud environments built on VMware technologies such as vSphere, vCenter, vSAN, NSX-T and Cloud Foundation.

You will work across Windows Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and Active Directory, lead automation with PowerShell, Ansible, and Terraform, and collaborate with security and application teams to drive modernization and resilience in a fast-paced

Job description

Senior Infrastructure and Virtualization Engineer with extensive experience designing, implementing, and supporting large-scale enterprise private cloud environments built on VMware technologies including vSphere, vCenter, vSAN, NSX-T, and VMware Cloud Foundation. Proven expertise managing complex server infrastructures across HPE and Dell platforms while supporting Windows Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and appliance-based operating systems in Active Directory environments.

Experienced in high-availability and disaster recovery solutions including SAN storage, clustered systems, shared storage architectures, network load balancing, and multi-site cloud environments. Strong background with VMware ecosystem tools such as vROps, vRLI, SDDC Manager, Lifecycle Manager, and vRealize Network Insight, as well as additional virtualization technologies including Hyper-V and Red Hat Virtualization.

Skilled in infrastructure automation and operational efficiency initiatives through PowerShell, PowerCLI, Ansible, and Terraform, with experience developing automated build processes, compliance remediation workflows, and infrastructure lifecycle management solutions. Adept at cloud modernization efforts, capacity optimization, platform upgrades, and engineering support for strategic infrastructure initiatives.

Recognized for strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across infrastructure, application, and security teams while maintaining high levels of ownership, productivity, and technical leadership in fast-paced enterprise environments.
