Indiana Farmers Insurance is seeking a Platform Engineer to design and optimize our hybrid infrastructure with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Azure Cloud services. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5–10 years designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise infrastructure and cloud platforms.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate data and make recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to explain complex concepts.
• Experience designing and supporting Microsoft Azure environments in enterprise settings.
• Experience automating infrastructure with PowerShell, IaC, or similar tools.
• Strong cross-functional teamwork and stakeholder collaboration.
• Proven project management capabilities, including planning and leading large projects.

Responsibilities for the Platform Engineer:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; may substitute equivalent relevant experience
• Five to ten years of progressive experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, networking, and systems administration
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to evaluate, interpret, draw inferences, and make recommendations based on data
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Demonstrated experience designing and supporting Microsoft Azure cloud environments within enterprise organizations
• Experience developing automation using PowerShell, Infrastructure as Code, configuration management, or similar automation platforms
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated project management skills, including planning, organizing, leading, and managing large project
