Platform Engineer
Compensation $90,000 base with up to 12% bonus potential. Benefits: Health, dental, vision, summer and winter breaks, paid vacation and sick time.
Your Work – As a Platform Engineer, you will be a vital member of the Platform Engineering Team, responsible for maintaining the infrastructure and operational integrity of our advertising software. Your role supports the platform’s mission to deliver efficient and secure systems, contributes to key technical projects, collaborates with cross‑functional teams, and ensures smooth platform operation.
Experience
- Proven experience in platform engineering, infrastructure management, or a similar role, with a history of successful project contributions and system enhancements.
- Strong technical expertise in cloud services, networking, and/or database management.
- Solid understanding of security protocols and operational best practices.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure‑as‑code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements, including ISO, SOC, or other relevant certifications.

Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
Infrastructure Management
- Maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure, networking, and database systems to ensure high availability and performance.
- Implement and monitor security protocols to safeguard our systems against vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Manage and refine CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and smooth software deployments.
Technical Contribution
- Develop and maintain Business Intelligence (BI) and reporting tools to support internal team operations and decision‑making.
- Debug and resolve complex technical issues, providing hands‑on support for environment setup and system optimization.
- Develop and maintain tools and processes to enhance system performance and reliability.
Collaboration and Support
- Work closely with software engineers, DevOps, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and operational support for new features.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to maintain consistent and reproducible development environments.
- Participate in incident response efforts, helping to minimize downtime and ensure quick recovery from system disruptions.
Documentation and Compliance
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of systems, processes, and configurations to ensure accessibility and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Perform regular audits and updates to ensure adherence to industry standards, such as ISO or SOC compliance.
Continuous Improvement
- Actively seek opportunities to innovate and improve the efficiency and security of our platform.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, and apply this knowledge to enhance our infrastructure and practices.
Location – This role is open to remote candidates located within the United States, with a preference for those in the EST or CST time zones. Option to work from our headquarters in Gainesville, FL.
Interview Process – We offer full transparency of our interview stages. Each interview stage consists of standardized questions and rubrics with a scoring system to ensure consistency and fairness.
- HR Information Screen – 20‑30 minute virtual interview focused on relevant work experience, compensation, role overview, and questions.
- Hiring Manager Interview – 45 minute virtual meeting to answer role‑specific questions and dive deeper into your background and experience.
- Work Assignment – Candidates complete a project relevant to the work they can expect in the role, given ample time to complete it.
- Panel Interview – 1 hour interview with two to three key members of the team, covering role, technical knowledge, and requirements. Review of work assignment included.
- Offer – The Talent Acquisition Team will reach out with the details of the offer to discuss with the candidate.
