Overview: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Platform Engineer to drive the development and maintenance of our internal developer platform, CI/CD pipelines, and data infrastructure. This role will focus on delivering a seamless and flexible platform that integrates with various tools and systems, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain the internal developer platform using tools like Backstage.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the integration, testing, and deployment of applications.
• Build and maintain zero-downtime deployment processes for applications and databases.
• Automate infrastructure tasks, including provisioning, configuration, and deployment, using tools like Terraform.
• Optimize salesforce pipelines to improve efficiency and performance.
• Manage data warehouses, data pipelines, and other big data solutions to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
• Tune and optimize database performance, including configuration, indexing, and query optimization.
• Ensure the reliability and scalability of APIs, implementing best practices for monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop scalable and efficient infrastructure solutions.
• Develop, test, and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure business continuity in case of failures or disasters. This includes automated backups, failover strategies, and regular recovery drills.
• Work closely with developers to understand their needs and provide tools and processes that enhance productivity.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in platform engineering, CI/CD, and data management.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of proven experience in Platform engineering, DevOps, and infrastructure automation.
• Experience working with development teams to align platform capabilities with their needs.
• Deep knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Experience with building and maintaining zero-downtime deployment processes.
• Hands-on experience with managing data warehouses, data pipelines, and other big data solutions.
• Strong understanding of database architecture, scaling, and query performance.
• Technical proficiency with API-driven integrations and complex system architectures.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to define KPIs, track metrics, and optimize platform features based on data.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with engineering, product, and operations teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a platform engineering role within a SaaS or technology company.
• Familiarity with Backstage or similar developer portal tools.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
