The Team

Core Data Services team focuses on Data and Analytics initiatives, building a modern data platform to support enterprise data needs. We aim to empower data engineers, scientists, analysts, and decision-makers to create value. Our team includes Platform Engineering, Data Engineering, Data Enablement, and Operations, working on a highly functional, performant enterprise Data Lake.

What This Role Will Do

This hands-on Platform Infrastructure role involves designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining secure, efficient, and testable platforms and infrastructure.

The Platform Would Provide

• The foundation of all critical software.
• Security products for building data engineering platforms.
• Tools for product teams to own their software delivery at scale.
• Participation in on-call rotations for platform support.

What This Person Will Bring

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS.
• Experience with all phases of the software and system development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python for developing production software and automation.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Jenkins, Tekton, and deployment strategies like canary and blue-green deployments.
• Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, or other container technologies.
• Experience with runtime orchestrations like serverless, container orchestration, batch, and real-time event processing.
• Familiarity with Agile development tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and stay updated with the latest data engineering technologies.
