Job summary

Programming.com is seeking a hands-on Platform / DevOps Engineer with strong experience in AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), and Terraform to design, build, and troubleshoot production cloud infrastructure, primarily within AWS GovCloud environments.

The role requires managing Helm, GitHub/GitLab, ArgoCD, and Vault, with emphasis on automation, modular Terraform code, and cross-functional collaboration; onsite for 1 month, then hybrid.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Kubernetes (EKS) in production environments.
• Expertise in Terraform, including developing and maintaining reusable modules.
• Experience with Helm, GitHub/GitLab, ArgoCD, and Vault.
• Strong production troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Build, manage, and troubleshoot production cloud infrastructure.
• Develop reusable Terraform modules and automated deployment workflows.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure secure, compliant environments.
• Lead incident response and RCA efforts.
