This small, empowered team moves quickly across disciplines; you’ll lead vehicle‑level integration, guide the technical approach, and produce documentation and trade studies to support reviews and decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering (advanced degree a plus).
• Demonstrated experience in vehicle-level configuration design and cross-discipline integration for aerospace platforms.
• Familiarity with interface control, configuration management, and whole-vehicle trade studies.
• Ability to work across the full development lifecycle—from concept to prototype—in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to contribute outside core focus area as needed and operate independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead vehicle-level integration and configuration design for prototype vehicles, including layout, packaging, and cross-discipline interfaces.
• Support rapid prototyping end-to-end from concept configuration through detailed integration and test.
• Own the integration discipline within Special Programs, setting approach, standards, and methods.
• Conduct feasibility assessments of new opportunities and determine required approaches.
• Collaborate with program leads and broader Archer teams to align technical work with timelines.
• Produce documentation, trade studies, and analysis packages for reviews and decisions.
• Represent Special Programs in internal reviews and with government stakeholders when needed.
