    Job Summary:

    The Lead Application & Product Architect (Team Lead Platform Engineering Manager) is a technical and hands-on position. You will sit in our Cloud Engineering Team where you will engage and work with both Architecture, Product Teams, DevOps and Quality Engineering environment as part of a team that develops cloud-based applications deployed to linux. You should also have at least 10 years professional experience developing cloud-based commercial solutions in either Python 3, Java, TypeScript, .NET Core, Go or C++11. This is a USA Fully Remote Managerial and Hands-On technical role and will report to the Distinguished Application & Product Architect FCC CS WK US and under the directorship of Vice President, Product Software Engineering GRC Compliance Solutions FCC CS WK US. #LI-Remote

    Job Qualifications (Minimum):

    • Education: B.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, and Physics or related field. M.S. degree in Computer Science

    • (10+) years of progressively responsible professional software engineering experience developing commercial applications in C++, Java or C#

    • (8+) years working on “real-time” distributed systems

    • (5) year minimum experience working as a senior developer on middleware in either Python3, TypeScript, Go, or C++11

    • (7) year minimum experience in a senior development role or tech lead role

    • (7) year minimum working with an agile/scrum development methodology

    • (5) year minimum experience developing applications on (document | time series | graph) storage solutions/platforms

    • (5) year minimum experience deploying production code to public cloud environments – AWS, Azure

    • (5) year minimum experience working with container technologies such as Docker, Podman and container orchestration platforms such as K8, Rancher

    • (5) year minimum experience developing “true” multi-tenant SaaS applications

    • (5) year minimum experience designing microservices middleware with REST APIs or gRPC APIs

    • Hands on experience working with and deploying applications on a CI/CD backbone

    • Demonstrated multi-tiered transactional applications

    • Demonstrated multithreading and asynchronous programming experience with applications that employ real-time data streaming

    • Experience building front-ends in HTML5, CSS and TypeScript and frameworks such as Angular, React.js or Backbone

    • Experience with the MEAN – MMySQL, Express.js, AngularJS, and Node.js

    • Expertise designing, coding and implementing architectures/applications that have 24/7 stability

    • Experience with Object-Oriented Analysis & Design and re-usability concepts

    • Experience with both relational and non-relational databases

    • Experience with message brokers, out-of-process caches

    • Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks

    • Demonstrated experience writing Automation tests

    • Experience and practice TDD & BDD

    • Work well with peers in a collaborative team environment

    • Follow direction, constructive criticism, and work with the development code

    Responsibilities

    • Lead a team of technical experts with backgrounds similar to your own in addition to staff with expertise in database technologies, performance engineering, security engineering

    • Design technical and cross cutting solutions for Product Engineering Teams in scale, security, data layer access, logging, application telemetry, api design, process-to-process communication
