Job summary

Machine Learning Technologies LLC in Plano, TX is seeking a Platform/Cloud Engineer for an 8-month engagement (plus extension). The role requires a strong software engineering/IT background with hands-on installation and configuration of applications, plus cloud and CI/CD experience.

Candidates should be proficient with Windows architecture, SQL Server, Linux, and familiarity with databases (SQL, DB2, Oracle). Work authorization in the US is required; knowledge of Agile/SAFe practices is a plus.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Computer Science and five+ years of experience in software engineering or IT including at least two years of experience in a role in which the primary responsibility is installation and configuration of applications, application design or architecture design.
• Experience in Windows architecture and SQL Server, Linux servers and AIX servers (a plus)
• Exposure to, knowledge of: Cloud architecture and application introduction; CICD Pipeline; Databases (SQL, DB2, Oracle)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in Agile teams and knowledge of Agile development & release practices.
• Experience/knowledge of: SAFe, Enterprise Scrum, Kanban, Rally, etc.
• Experience as a member of an application and/or infrastructure delivery team
• Experience/Knowledge of deploying and configuring infrastructure and application software (including ancillary software, i.e. TomCat, Access DB, MS 365 Runtime)
• Experience in the banking industry.
