Job summary

Panasonic Avionics Corporation is seeking a Member of Technical Staff III to design, develop, test, and operate platform software and infrastructure enabling apps to run on Kubernetes-based edge platforms.

This hands-on role spans cloud-native infrastructure, Kubernetes, networking, security, automation, and distributed systems, collaborating with multiple platform teams to deliver reliable, secure, scalable capabilities for both cloud and edge environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related technical field.
• 5–10 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Hands-on Go development and cloud-native infrastructure experience.
• Proficiency with Linux, containers, Kubernetes, and GitLab/CI/CD.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Experience with AWS or comparable cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain platform services and infrastructure using Go.
• Build scalable backend services, APIs, and automation for edge and cloud.
• Develop and operate Kubernetes-based platform capabilities across environments.
• Implement GitOps workflows with Argo CD, Helm, and GitLab.
• Create CI/CD pipelines and secure software release processes.
• Collaborate across Platform, Infrastructure, DevOps, Security, and App teams.
