Job summary

Slalom, a values-driven technology and business consultancy, seeks a Senior Consultant/Principal to architect and optimize cloud platforms across AWS, Azure, or GCP. You will lead IaC efforts, design CI/CD pipelines, and mentor teams while collaborating with security, architecture, and application stakeholders.

You will engage with enterprise clients, accelerate software delivery, and drive modernization initiatives, delivering measurable outcomes across multi-cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and operating enterprise-scale cloud platforms in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong background in DevOps with Infrastructure as Code and automation.
• Proficiency with Terraform, CI/CD, containerization, and Kubernetes.
• Excellent ability to communicate technical concepts to engineers and business stakeholders.
• Consulting mindset with strong problem-solving and client engagement skills.

What You’ll Bring

• Architect, build, and optimize cloud platform solutions across AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud environments.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation frameworks using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Working with application teams to define CI/CD pipelines from scratch.
• Build observability, security controls, and platform governance best practices.
• Collaborate with application, security, and architecture teams to improve developer experience and accelerate software delivery.
• Lead cloud modernization and platform transformation initiatives for enterprise clients.
• Mentor engineering teams on DevOps, SRE, cloud-native, and platform engineering best practices.
• Experience designing and operating enterprise-scale cloud platforms in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong background in DevOps, Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, CI/CD, containerization, and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with scripting and automation using Python language
• Knowledge of cloud security, networking, monitoring, reliability engineering, and governance frameworks.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both engineering and business stakeholders
• Experience using GenAI tools to accelerate your work.
• Consulting mindset with strong problem-solving, collaboration, and client engagement skills

For this role, we are hiring at the following levels and targeted base pay salary ranges: The targeted base salary pay range for Senior Consultant is $118,000 to $63,000. The targeted base salary pay range for Principal is $145,000 to $200,000. I n addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus . Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
