Job summary

SpaceXAI is hiring a Software Engineer for the X Developer Platform to join a small, hands-on team building real-time APIs and developer tooling. You will collaborate across engineering, product, and business teams to deliver scalable services that power billions of signals daily.

The role requires 5+ years in software development, expertise in distributed systems, RPC frameworks, microservices, and cloud platforms. Compensation includes base salary, equity, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

5+ years of industry experience
Distributed Systems experience (Kafka a plus)
Experience with RPC frameworks and microservices
Understanding of core CS concepts and data structures/algorithms
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud)

Responsibilities

Collaborate with engineering, product leadership, business leadership, and engineers across the company.
Maintain and improve the systems that serve existing customers while designing and shipping new products.
Design clean, reliable, well-abstracted solutions to problems of scale, correctness, and developer experience.
Help shape the architecture of the platform as it grows to serve new categories of consumers.
