Job summary

SpaceXAI is seeking an experienced X Developer Platform Engineer to help scale our API ecosystem serving billions of signals daily. You will collaborate across engineering, product, and customer teams to deliver reliable platform services and developer-friendly tooling.

You will design scalable architectures, improve existing services, and help define the next generation of developer experience for agents and automated systems. A strong CS foundation and cloud experience are essential.

Qualifications

• MS or BS in Computer Science is required.
• 5+ years of industry experience working on commercial software applications or services.
• Distributed Systems experience (Kafka is a plus).
• Experience with RPC frameworks and microservices.
• Strong CS fundamentals: data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering, product leadership, and business leaders across the company.
• Maintain and improve systems serving existing customers while designing and shipping new products.
• Design clean, reliable, well-abstracted solutions for scale, correctness, and developer experience.
• Help shape the platform architecture to serve new categories of consumers including agents and automated systems.
