Job summary

Nightwing Intelligence Solutions, LLC is seeking a lab and systems administrator to support provisioning, imaging, and access management for lab users. The role requires DoD/ DHS suitability and the ability to work across Linux/Unix and macOS environments.

The candidate will maintain Apple devices, manage inventories and licenses, and provide VPN/VDI support (Cisco, Citrix, VMware, AWS) while communicating clearly with teams and customers.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Active DoD Secret clearance and ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
• Must be able to obtain DHS Suitability.
• 2+ years of lab management or systems administration experience.
• Experience with multiple OSs, including Linux/Unix and macOS.
• Experience with imaging workstations (Apple products preferred).
• Clear written and oral communication at all levels.
• Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with customers, external organizations, internal management, and peers.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to lab staff for provisioning and issuing equipment and maintaining inventory.

• Inventory IT assets including hardware and software and manage licenses.

Overview

Nightwing is supporting a U.S. Government customer to provide rapid deployment and management of secure cloud-based engagement kits for cyber incident response and threat hunting operations. As part of the Engagement Support Services (ESS) contract, this program enables analysts to quickly access the tools and environments they need to investigate cyber threats affecting federal agencies, state and local governments, and critical infrastructure. Working on this team means directly supporting the nation's cybersecurity defenders by ensuring they have reliable, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure available within hours of a cyber incident—helping protect America's digital infrastructure when it matters most.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for Virtual Private Network (VPN) or Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (e.g., Cisco, Citrix, VMWare, AWS) to users.

• Administer and maintain Apple products and operating systems.

Required Skills

Required Education

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or related discipline; or HS Diploma & 4‑6 years of directly relevant experience.

Desired Certifications

• DoD 8140.01 IAT Level II.
