Job summary

CirrusLabs, LLC is seeking a GitHub Platform Admin to manage our enterprise GitHub environment, including Enterprise/Cloud accounts, access controls, and org settings.

You will automate tasks via the GitHub API and Actions, optimize workflows, manage CI/CD integrations (e.g., Jenkins), enforce security practices, train teams, migrate repositories, and generate clear compliance reports for growing engineering groups.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience with GitHub (Enterprise preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Git workflows, Actions, Packages, and security features.
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python) and API usage.

• Monitor usage, enforce security policies (e.g., branch protection, secret scanning), and troubleshoot issues.
• Automate tasks using GitHub API, webhooks, and scripting (Python/Bash).
• Train teams on GitHub features and migrate repositories as needed.
• Generate reports on repository activity and compliance.

Requirements:

• 5+ years hands-on experience with GitHub (Enterprise preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Git workflows, Actions, Packages, and security features.
• Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Bash, Python) and API usage.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes a plus).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and communication for cross-team support.
