Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies seeks a reliable technician to inspect parts before, during, and after processing and to competently operate all required machinery and tools. The role includes routine maintenance, forklift training for designated employees, and maintaining a clean, safe workplace.

Applicants should understand the Valence ROUTER, follow procedures for filling out routers, correct input mistakes, and notify a supervisor for router issues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read process traveler and complete operations.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and use basic hand tools.
• Able to follow verbal and written direction.
• Fork truck training available for designated employees.

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts before, during, and after processing.
• Operate machinery and instruments safely; assist with routine maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Locate and understand quality system documentation in the Valence system.
• Follow ROUTER procedures and correct input mistakes as needed.
• Process parts with minimal supervision.
• Avoid damage to parts and protect them from damage.

• COMPENSATION RANGE: $20 to $22.00 Per Hour
