Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies is seeking a hands-on associate in West Springfield, MA to inspect parts before, during, and after processing. You will operate machines safely, conduct routine maintenance, and maintain a clean work area on site.

The role requires ability to read process travelers, follow written and verbal directions, and assist trained operators. ITAR access is required and applicants must meet ITAR requirements before employment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read process traveler and fill out completed operations.
• Ability to perform simple cleaning operations.
• Ability to assist as a helper to trained operators.
• Able to follow verbal and written direction.
• Able to use basic hand tools such as wrenches and clamps.
• Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work under direct supervision.

• COMPENSATION RANGE: $20 to $22.00 plus shift differential
