KDV Label Co. in Waukesha, WI is seeking a Press Helper for the 2nd shift (2:00 PM–10:15 PM). The role offers $18.50 per hour or more based on manufacturing experience, with an opportunity to grow in the press room and related production areas.

You will assist in preparing print jobs, keeping presses running, and maintaining a safe, orderly work environment. Competitive benefits are provided and you can build a stable career with the team.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle physical workload on average 10lbs, maximum weight 25lbs.
• Mathematical Development: Basic math skills needed, able to read a ruler.
• Good close-up vision recommended.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine operations related to Plate Mounting –including but not limited to lifting print cylinders that weigh up to 25lbs and mount plate on to print cylinder using precision
• Capable of working in a fast paced environment
• Plan ahead, preparing for the next job
• Wash plates from completed jobs using plate washer
• Peel sticky back off cylinders
• Stock area with supplies needed – alcohol, soap, etc.
• Read and understand measurements down to .0625”
• Must have the ability to understand direction from group leaders and other technician level employees
• Must demonstrate a good safety record
• Maintains a clean and orderly work environment
