Job summary

HireCall is seeking experienced Header Plate Fitters for an air-cooler manufacturing facility in Claremore, OK. The role requires fitting experience, blueprint interpretation, and precise assembly of header plate components on a day shift.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, laying out parts, ensuring correct fit-up, and inspecting finished work. Strong mechanical aptitude and teamwork are essential; walk-ins welcome at 2310 N Old Hwy 66, Catoosa, OK 74015.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a fitter is required.
• Experience in a fabrication, manufacturing, or heavy industrial environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Proficient with hand tools and power tools.
• Experience using precision measuring tools such as tape measures, squares, calipers, and other layout instruments.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.

Responsibilities

• Fit and assemble header plate components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work instructions.
• Lay out, align, and position parts for assembly and fabrication.
• Verify dimensions and tolerances using precision measuring instruments.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, grinders, and other fabrication equipment.
• Ensure proper fit-up prior to welding and final assembly.
• Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards.
