Job summary

Atkore International Group in Dallas, TX is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector I for Day Shift (7:00AM - 7:00PM) at $20.35/hr. The role supports plant quality by ensuring products meet internal and regulatory standards and reports to the Plant Manager.

The ideal candidate will perform quality tests, handle paperwork, train staff, and ensure calibration and adherence to UL specifications. This full-time, on-site position offers benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum educational requirement is a high school diploma, or equivalent.
• 5 years of experience in a plastic extrusion operation as a supervisor, lead man, or highly skilled operator.
• Experience and knowledge of Lean Daily Management principles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Preform quality control tests as required.
• Execute and maintain all necessary paperwork and documentation.
• Train all employees, including new hires in the area of quality.
• Ensure that all shifts perform quality tests and procedures.
• Review shift quality control inspection sheets for accuracy.
• Ensure all weights for production are recorded accurately.
