Job summary

Atkore, a leading manufacturer in Dallas, TX, is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector I for the night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) at a pay of $20.35/hour plus a $1/hour night differential. You will ensure that plastics products meet internal and regulatory specs, perform tests, and maintain required quality documentation.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and about 5 years in plastic extrusion supervision or similar roles.

Qualifications

• Experience in plastics extrusion operations or supervision.
• Knowledge of quality control practices and documentation.
• Familiarity with Lean Daily Management principles preferred.

• Willingness to train other employees on quality procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control tests as required.
• Ensure weights for production are recorded accurately.
• Review shift quality control inspection sheets for accuracy.
• Execute and maintain all necessary paperwork and documentation.
• Ensure that all shifts perform quality test procedures.
• Train all employees, including new hires, in the area of quality.
• Review and ensure compliance with UL or internal specs as needed.
