Job summary

Midland Plastics, Inc. is seeking a Plastics Project Manager to lead new engineered plastic manufacturing programs from award through production launch.

This role acts as the primary project owner and coordinates with customers, sales, engineering, quality, and operations to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery. You will manage cross-functional teams across thermoforming, extrusion, machining and fabrication, oversee sampling and validation, and drive risk mitigation and continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in project management or manufacturing engineering.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred.
  • Experience in plastics or custom manufacturing preferred.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer-facing abilities.
  • Technical understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
