Job description

Sets up, auxiliary machines as needed for injection molding machines. Adjusts and monitors injection molding machines and equipment for processes to insure quality product and meet customer specifications by performing the following duties.

Setup/Processing

• Mounts, aligns, and secures tool sections in machines and verifies safe operations.
• Sets up, adjusts, auxiliary equipment, such thermolaters, grinders, mold vacs, conveyors.
• Sets molding process according to setup sheets.
• Sets up, adjusts, and maintains injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment, using such items as hand tools, electrical testing instruments, machine controls and gauges.
• Adjusts machine operations and instruments to accomplish work order objectives, quality expectations, and to accomplish startup and shut down efficiently.
• Cooperates and communicates with other production personnel, i.e.: Supervisors, Quality, Process Engineers and Operators to ensure quality production parts and to continuously

achieve effective methods for processing.

• Documents all process problems and corrections in mold log book.
• Reports problems and malfunctions to shift supervisor.
