Job summary

ConMet’s Canton, NC plastics manufacturing facility is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to support operations by analyzing processes and driving efficiency across new and existing production lines. You will manage projects, develop cost-effective processes, and implement improvements that enhance productivity.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering, 3+ years of experience, and SAP experience. CAD/SolidWorks and GD&T are preferred

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
  • Program management experience required.
  • Experience with Manufacturing and Assembly processes.
  • SAP (or equivalent ERP) experience required.
  • CNC programming and PLC experience preferred.
  • Core Tool (APQP & FMEA) and GD&T experience preferred.
  • Ultrasonic/Vibration Welding for Plastics preferred.
  • CAD - 3D modeling/SolidWorks experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering support for new product lines integration into existing plant operations.

ConMet’s Canton, NC plastics manufacturing facility is seeking a skilled, hands‑on Manufacturing Engineer with strong project management abilities and a collaborative mindset. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an engineer who thrives on supporting manufacturing operations by analyzing processes and driving efficiency improvements across both new and existing production lines.

What You Will Do
  • Provide engineering support for the development and integration of new product lines into existing plant operations.

  • Excellent base salary
  • Targeted annual bonus is based on company performance to objectives during the fiscal plan year, which runs from October 1 – September 30.
