Job summary

Global Sports Jobs Limited is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to maintain and repair plastics production equipment across extrusion, thermoforming and injection moulding. The role supports 24/7 production and requires reading drawings, PLC troubleshooting, and using CMMS for work orders.

The candidate should have a technical/Vocational background and 3+ years in industrial maintenance, with the ability to work 12-hour shifts and lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Technical/Vocational or military training in industrial maintenance/electrical systems.
• Three years of industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical/electrical drawings and diagrams.
• Experience with PLC control systems and AC/DC electrical systems up to 480V.
• Experience using CMMS and basic computer skills.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts including evenings/weekends/holidays.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair plastics manufacturing equipment across extrusion, thermoforming and injection moulding.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspect for reliability.
• Troubleshoot and repair using electrical, mechanical, hydraulics and pneumatics knowledge.
• Implement downtime-reducing projects and respond quickly to issues to return to production.
• Coordinate with shift-aligned maintenance teams and communicate findings to supervisors.
• Contact vendors, research problems, order parts, and track repairable components.
