Job summary

KI is hiring a Plastics Technician for the Green Bay facility on the Weekend Workforce A shift. You will operate injection molding machines, assemble chairs, inspect quality, and participate in continuous improvement efforts.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. The position offers a 32-hour weekend schedule (Fri-Sat nights, 10pm-10am, plus one weekday shift) with pay for 40 hours, plus a $3.00/hour shift premium and potential overtime

KI, a world class supplier of innovative and award-winning furniture solutions for business, educational, and healthcare environments, is seeking a full-time Plastics Technician to join our Green Bay manufacturing facility on our Weekend Workforce A shift. Weekend Workforce A shift individuals receive an hourly shift differential of $3.00. A $1.00/hour raise is also given within the first year of employment.

Job Duties

• Operate injection molding machines, including trimming and packaging of parts.
• Assemble chairs, including packaging and labeling of product.
• Inspect parts produced to ensure quality.
• Pack and label knockdown product.
• Clean work area/machinery.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.

Value Added Skills

• Mechanically inclined with previous manufacturing experience, but not required.
• Team Player.
• Computer knowledge.

Physical Requirements

• Working in areas where it can get warm.
• Working in a smoke free environment.

Shift

• This is a Weekend Workforce A shift position.
• Hours are 10pm-10am Friday and Saturday night; then one 8 hour shift during the week. Work 32 hours, get paid for 40.
• Shift premium of $3.00/hour.
• Overtime during busy season.
