Job summary

Jabil in the United States is seeking an Inspector/Packer to manually inspect completed plastic parts, seal and pack boxes, label, and prepare for shipping. You may operate molding presses and train entry-level staff. The role emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and adherence to procedures while maintaining production flow.

Strong color perception and manual dexterity, ability to lift up to 35 lbs, and good English communication are required. SAP and MS Office skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• In process inspection: examine visual attributes of each product (discoloration, shorts, burns, contamination sinks, splay, delamination, etc.).
• Records data: document information regarding the product or performance.
• Packing: transfer product to shipping containers, weigh, label, and stack on pallets.
• Maintains work area: keep production and packing area clean and organized.
• Sorts and reworks: identify non-conforming product and document status.
• Fosters teamwork within the company across departments.
• Completes all required training and conducts all job functions safely.
• Complies with safety and environmental regulations; use safety equipment as required.
