Job summary

LF Studios in Hazelwood, OH seeks an Associate in Plastics to produce molds and casts across fiberglass, epoxy, urethane, and silicone with high quality. You will move quickly between tasks and collaborate within a team.

Requirements include 1–2 years in fabrication, knowledge of fiberglass production, carpentry, and steel fabrication, plus molding/casting expertise; strong communication and safety awareness. This is a full-time role with variable hours as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years' experience in a similar role or fabrication shop.
• Knowledge of fiberglass production, carpentry, and steel fabrication.
• Knowledge of molding and casting process of sculptures.
• Detail-oriented multitasker with strong communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute processes for molding and casting according to the schedule.
• Maintain consistent quality in molding, casting, trimming, and bodywork.
• Understand different methodologies and find efficiencies.
• Demonstrate proactive thinking and planning.
• Complete Plastics Fabrication QAP as required by each project.
• Identify potential ways to improve efficiency.
• Maintain shop safety guidelines and practices.
• Travel to assist on installs; cross-training to support other departments.
