The Extrusion Operator – Setup Operations role on the 2nd shift (2:00pm–10:30pm) in Lenni, PA requires hands-on setup, record-keeping, and safe operation of extrusion equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of job experience in a manufacturing setting or graduation from a technical training school in a mechanical application.
• Knowledge of safe operation of horizontal lathes, portable resurfacing machines and drill presses.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Clean and setup single screw extruders.
• Maintain setup and accurate in-process records.
• Record running conditions and process changes.
• Assure material is manufactured to the required specification.
• Take care of tooling and equipment during the setup of an extruder.
• Monitor cut off sheets and shop orders that are running and being setup.
• Confirm correct type and amount of resin is entered into each job.
• Maintain housekeeping in extrusion area.
• Maintain all safety requirements.

Extrusion machine operator – Setup operator duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Clean and setup single screw extruders
• Maintain setup and accurate in-process records
