Job summary

Tank Holding Corporation seeks a Trimmer to cut down and regrind plastic scrap for reuse in production. Exceptional performance means safe, accurate trim work, parts handled without damage, and a clean, organized work area to keep the production line moving.

This role uses various power tools daily and involves transporting regrind containers while strictly following safety practices and work instructions. Prior manufacturing experience and a high school diploma or equivalent are preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; other combinations of education and experience will be considered.
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools and perform all functions outlined in this job description.
• Ability to solve practical problems and make decisions within a set of guidelines.
• Effective oral and written communication skills, including legible handwriting is required.
• Able to work under limited supervision using standardized practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Use various power tools daily to cut plastic scrap down to a manageable size for the regrind machine.
• Transport full containers of regrind plastic to the appropriate areas of the production floor.
• Handle parts properly to avoid damage and meet quality standards.
• Follow safety practices at all times while performing trim operations and use correct inserts and trimming requirements.
• Return tools, materials, molds and other equipment to proper storage and keep the area organized.
