Job summary

Banner Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join the Plastic Surgical Oncology team at Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center in Gilbert, AZ. The role provides inpatient and outpatient clinical services, with involvement in the OR and multidisciplinary cancer care.

The ideal candidate is board-certified, supports evidence-based practice, and is comfortable working within a collaborative division.

Qualifications

• Board-certified NP or PA with surgical experience preferred.
• Experience in plastic surgery oncology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient clinical services for plastic surgical oncology patients.
• Support the surgical team in the OR and participate in multidisciplinary care.
• Engage in clinical, research and education services as part of Banner MD Anderson Center.

The Division of SurgicalOncology at Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center continues to experience rapid growth. As part of this growth, we are recruiting Advanced Practice Providers to provide inpatient and outpatient clinical services at the Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center.

Excellent opportunity for a dynamic Nurse Practitioner orPhysician Assistant to join our Plastic Surgical Oncology team. Qualified candidate is required to be board certified and is expected to provide compassionate, evidence-based and multidisciplinary care to cancer patients. Experience preferred, new graduatecandidates with strong backgrounds will be considered. Our NP/PA is expected to be an active member of the Division and participate in clinical, research and education services provided by Banner MD Anderson Center (BMDACC) at the Gateway Campus in Gilbert, Arizona.

• SFA training required, as our APPwill support Plastic Surgery Team in all settings: inpatient, outpatient, and the OR
• NP with RNFA required
• PA with Surgical Experience
• M-F | 8-5 |Call 1:8 weeks
• May require travel to Banner University Medical Center Phoenix
