Position Overview

Part-Time Plastic Surgeon Position in Charleston, WV with National Wound Physician Group. Enjoy clinical satisfaction, autonomy, flexibility, and work-life balance. No nights, no call, and no weekend clinical responsibilities. Become an expert in wound management, learn from highly qualified wound-certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors, and utilize cutting-edge clinical technologies and wound care modalities.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states.
• Receive physician-level wound management training and participate in a wound fellowship for clinical excellence.
• Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients daily.
• Perform clinical documentation at the point of care using proprietary wound-specific EMR.

Requirements

• Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state of practice.
• Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.

Practice Details

• Work hours: Monday - Friday (7am-4pm) or part-time options available.
• No call or weekend responsibilities.
• Mobile practice within a 40-60 mile radius of the practice location.
• Paid training provided during onboarding and a 6-month wound care fellowship.

Compensation and Benefits

• W2 full-time physicians earn on average $300,000 annually plus benefits.
