Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Rockville, MD seeks a Plastic Surgeon to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. This role emphasizes wound expertise, autonomy, and a hands-off cosmetic overhead, with a clear Monday–Friday schedule and multiple pay structures.

Expected duties include debridement, wound evaluation, advanced dressings, and collaborative care in post-acute settings. Salary ranges from $250,000 to $500,000 annually for full-time, with additional bonuses and per-patient pay.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution is required.
• Unrestricted medical license in the practice state is required.
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one is required.
• We provide comprehensive wound care training at Skilled Wound Care.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical and sharp debridement and bedside procedures.
• Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing, and complex wounds.
• Apply advanced dressings and wound care protocols.
• Collaborate with staff in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings.
