Skilled Wound Care is seeking a Plastic Surgeon in Washington, D.C. to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities, performing debridement and bedside procedures with a Monday–Friday schedule and no on-call duties.

The role emphasizes tissue handling and wound healing expertise, with training provided and compensation reflecting per-patient and per-procedure pay, plus bonuses. This is a physician-led, independent practice opportunity.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice.
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open Background: Welcomes Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons and surgeons from all backgrounds; comprehensive wound care training provided.

Responsabilités

• Surgical and sharp debridement and bedside procedures
• Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds, including pressure injuries
• Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols
• Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and post-acute settings, following patients through healing
