Job summary

Skilled Wound Care is seeking a Plastic Surgeon in Albuquerque, NM to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. This no-call role offers full-time or part-time options with per-patient and per-procedure pay, plus bonuses. Open to reconstructive, cosmetic, or general surgeons seeking steady income and autonomy.

Highlights include a true Monday-Friday schedule, no nights or weekends, and no corporate overhead. Training in wound care is provided; license in NM required.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted/clear medical license in the practicing state.
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Open background welcome; comprehensive wound care training provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical and sharp debridement and other bedside procedures.
• Evaluate and treat chronic, non-healing and complex wounds (including pressure injuries).
• Apply advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols.
• Collaborate with SNFs and post-acute teams to follow patients through healing.
