  • Board certification and Pennsylvania licensure required.

Job description

The Allegheny Health Network (AHN) Surgical Institute is recruiting a full-time Plastic Surgeon to join our team serving the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area. Contribute to the busiest microsurgical practice in the city by performing a wide range of reconstructive procedures in response to trauma, burn, infection, and cancer. Provide a better quality of life while improving overall function and chronic pain. Enjoy a flexible office schedule that can accommodate scheduling procedures in both the main operation room and/or ambulatory surgery centers.

Job Duties
  • Coverage of Level 1 Trauma Center.
  • Providing general plastics surgery care including: Breast reconstruction/oncoplasty; abdominal wall reconstruction; skin cancer and soft tissue excision with sentinel lymph node biopsy as needed.
  • Collaboration with orthopedic surgeons on limb salvage.
  • Body contouring after massive weight loss.
  • Providing cosmetic/corrective surgery.
  • Interest in facial trauma is preferred.
  • Opportunity to work at West Penn Hospital’s Burn Center.
